12 year old Grandsons first buck

My 12 year old grandson took this buck yesterday. Again they are in NW Kansas and Trophy mule deer are quite common. I was going to bring him and the 11 year old to my place in Dickens county TX over Christmas break to get there first deer but I can't compete with the success they just had with their Dad. I know I have a new generation of hunting partners in these 2 boys I am so looking forward to sharing time afield with them.

Congrats that is awesome. I have two young boys myself I’m getting into hunting so I’ll have a couple life long hunting partners. So much fun with them!

Congrats and I'm sure you're one proud grandpa! As a KSU alum, I really like that Wildcat purple under the blaze vest. Have some friends from school up around Oberlin. Dandy mulies and white-tails up there.
