Welded two barrels together end to end to make a 600lb feeder so it was just twice as tall?

Seen them but never built one. Most were way to tall and to top heavy for my liking. I prefer to get an 85 gallon drum to make a larger feeder that is the same height. Used to be able to find funnels made to fit an 85 gallon drum years ago also.

I have several double stacked 55 gallon drum feeders. Using a cut-off wheel on e 4 1/2" angle grinder, cut the top off one and bottom off the other. Made a few cuts in the top of the lower barrel so it would slide maybe 4" into the top barrel and ran sheetmetal screws thru the lap. Works great!
