Is the the date correct? From that one pic that buck appears to be mature, 5+. Could even be post mature if that pronounced hump on top of his shoulders is not from how he is standing. More pics can tell more about him.

His rump isn’t well developed, the hump looks like it’s his shoulder blade because of his stance, his brisket doesn’t sag, his head isn’t too large or rounded. I’ve seen old whitetails with small thin heads, and some more pics would certainly help, but I’m leaning more toward 3.5 in the pic.

The date is correct. During the past hunting season, he was running with his buddy (see picture).
