I have him at least 4.5 years old. What is your opinion on his age.

Hard to say on this one. While his rump is high, and his head has blocked up, im not seeing the brisket sag or much belly/back sag. Somewhere between 3.5 and 5.5
If your worried he's to young, stop worrying.

I know our deer looked a lot lighter this weekend than they did in oct with this early rut in our part of the state.

I let someone else's opinion make me doubt mine. I put the picture on here because it is not hard to tell when they go from 3.5 to 4.5 but above that I lose my confidence.

No way is he under 4.5
Realky looks like 5 1/2 to me but could be older. Take him unless you have better options.
