In need of a deer finding dog

In need of a deer finding dog - 11/09/17 06:36 PM

Shot a nice buck this morning, huge blood trail. Waited an hour got down and started to trail arterial blood. Heard him jump up, waited another hour. Went back to where I jumped him and there was a huge pool of blood. Used my gps and did a fan pattern with no luck. So, does anyone have a deer dog near Hillsboro area that can help me out? Thanks in advance.

Go check the nearest watering hole around that area you last seen him if you can't find a dog.

Good luck. Sucks jumping a deer and it's generally not a good sign jumping them after an hour wait.

call Cameron 940-580-0387, he runs a blue lacy named Archer and they have done an excellent job for me and one of my buddies.

Hope you find him. That’s a gut wrenching feeling when you lose one. I’ve lost a doe, I couldn’t imagine loosing a big buck

If you use .223 dogs would get cheap 55 grain hp.
