How Rare?

Dates are correct. Never seen em this late. Does survival rate go down because of how late they dropped?

See it pretty much every year during that time period. Few years ago I had a fawn I named "tiny" that was still very spotted well into October. Wasn't much bigger than my Beagle

Saw them on our place as well....Not this year but last season.
I would have to say it's not uncommon.
One reason I will not shoot a very small, young looking spike buck.

Pretty common at our place. Bottom line is those fawns still have spots, but they are pretty good sized. Any idea what your buck to do ratio is? All three look to be in good shape. I would expect them to have a very good chance of surviving.

Thanks usually early August is the latest I see them. 4 to 1 on buck to doe ratio but that's just an estimate based on pics and time in the stand.

They are eating the corn (eating on their own)...should be fine.

Those are pygmy axis. They are very rare...don't shoot.

She was bred late so they were born late. She'll breed late this year too because the fawns wont be weened and on their own until the spots are gone.

Not rare at all. And those fawns are close to weaned already, spots or not.

More than likely your buck-to-doe ratio is out of whack. Your bucks had a hard time keeping up. They probably got to her on the second third or fourth rut.

+1 on not rare. Not all does breed at the same time. As long as they have good food supply and low predators they'll be fine.

I've seen them in December. Ol bucky got him some at the end of January. Just nature, no biggy. The rut this year is gonna be like that. They rutted hard in October here and probably will have a strong late secondary. The weather has'nt matched up with what we and the deer wish it was. They are as frustraded with the weather as we are most of the time. The moon does it's tricks too.
