Kinda hard to tell with him laying on his side sleeping.
With that said his face looks more triangular rather than long like a young buck other than that its hard to tell. Id say atleast 5.

6.5 or older. Body condition, hatchet rump, face, dew laps, neck, shoulders, thickness of forelegs and heavy bases with some beading. But that's a WAG from that one photo.

He looks quite old to me as well.
Heavy neck and shoulders, head doesn't have long appearance as mentioned, musculature is kind of worn, not tight like it usually is with a younger deer...
That's a tough picture to go by though.

he was almost 9. 1 point for every year, right? Just messing with you. He seems 6+ but hard to tell from the pics.

He doesn't have a hole in him. No blood around. He looks like he is sick. I doubt he's been rutting. I would say 4.5 or 5.5 years old.
