Sisters first deer! - 01/02/17 03:24 AM
So I just remembered I had footage of my sisters first deer so I thought I'd share it because the story leading up to it. We loaded up in the kabota at 5:30am and headed to the property on the other side of the highway. My sister and I got into the blind right before sunrise and as soon as the sun broke the horizon the sanderas filled up with does. After contemplating which one to take she got settled in on one and was fixing to take her last breath before the shot when we noticed a nice 10 pointer strut from the brush. He was hot on a doe but after he settled down and started to feed she settled the crosshairs on him. Until this guy showed up....

Turns on my grandpas dog got out and followed us over the highway and to the blind he walked right by the blind and just kept walking down the sandera. My uncle was hunting the also and said that the dog walked to his blind to and scared off deer . So we waited and hoped that the deer would come back with the dog gone. Our hopes came true when the feeder went off and the deer came running back from every angle. We were really hoping to see the buck come back but when the does started to get full and leave we decided it was time to put some food on the table and waited for a shot on a doe. It's like they know which angle to stand at to avoid being shot from the blind. One finally gave her a good shot and the rest was history
