What's your thoughts?

So in 2013 I have a nice young deer show up, I believe him to be 3.5. He got a pass from me and flew under the radar the rest of year. 2014 no sightings or pics of this deer. 2015 a deer shows up, my gut says it's him. I saw this deer 3 times after a doe with no shot opportunity. He finally slipped up and I took a shot. It was one of those, that you know just felt good and he is dead 40 yards in the brush. I searched 2 days and even with dogs, no deer. Made me sick. Now 2016 I get a pic of a deer I believe to be him. My calculations would put him at 6 to 7, but he is poor and looks really old. Maybe I wounded him and he never got over it. Maybe not the same deer. What do you guys think? The pics are in progression 2013, 2015, and 2016.

I don't think the 3rd deer is the same deer... same genes but not same deer imo
