Deer meat safety - 11/24/16 07:11 PM
Two scenarios I'd like opinions on:
1. Doe that looks mature and healthy but has one limp ear.
2. My dad shot a coyote that was eating on a deer. Walked up and had to put the deer down as it was in very bad shape. Nothing appeared to be eaten other than the back legs/butt. Would you clean and harvest untouched meat? Front quarters, backstrap, tenderloins, etc?
