Ugliest Deer Pictures.....

We all see a ton of trophy quality deer pictures on THF, so I thought we could lighten the mood and show off our ugliest "trophies".

Here is my crown jewel. I took him 17 years ago.........

This one is running around our place right now.

A spike with a drop tine!

I shot one in Sonora almost exactly like that.

I had this old guy coming around a few years ago. Guess the winter or father time got him.

Y'all go to a lot of effort to saw off those spike antlers.

Sometimes they are just so ugly that you can't bring yourself to throw them away!

I have lost some antlers over time but you are correct! I have a wall full of what most people would chunk.

We keep them cause we need carry them home as *proof of sex* then toss them in the pile in the backyard. Squirrels usually take care of them though.

Ugly on one side anyway!

Each and everyone of them I'd bet made excellent sausage. I wish I had some of the old ones my dad and granddad had. Looking back I think they might have only hunted freaks!
