Daughter shot buck of a lifetime.

Was after a mainframe 10 when out of no where this stud jumped on n the pen. Wasted no time getting it n him. He was harvested with 12 sec before feeder went off. Right before she shot, we saw the 10 pt walk into the other feeder.

We had lots of pics of the mainframe 10 pt plus a wide 8 pt that was plan "B". But had never seen this beast before opening morning of youth season. Blessed to be part of a great group of guys on an awesome place.

Picked him this morning from the processor and took him to DD Taxidermy in Rockwall. Quick score was 12 scorable points and roughly 135" with a 9" drop tine. He had another point but it was broken off, bummer. Lots of character with kickers off of his brow tines.

Funny thing was the mainframe 10 pt walked in my other feeder location to our south with some other nice bucks but she stayed locked on the droptine. We had a scary feeling that the feeder was going to fire and spook off the buck but luckily he presented a perfect broadside shot from 134 yds. She drilled him with my sons .308 and he dropped right there. We had talked in the blind before sunup about how high the broomweed is right now and the fear of loosing a buck if she didn't drop him. Turned out it wasn't an issue. She's a killer!
