I've got 2 pics of one of those mystery bucks that only show up in the fog or just outside of camera range. Not gonna shoot until I get a good look at him.

A four year old and a five year old are hard to judge unless you saw them the year before and new it was a four year old. Duhh right? Just sayin knowin the deer helps. Not always possible though. Alot of east tx. 4 yr olds carry the same antler mass and beam length. Tyically on the average. 4 in. Bases and 21 in. Beams. 5 year olds put on those longer beams and better antler mass. 4 yr. Olds are at 70 percent maturity, but put on alot of handsome body weight and muscle mass. The first year of the bull look. Cant say. Looks like a great buck.

4.5 would be my guess on that pict. Back and belly appear to still be flat. He is getting close though.
