Just like clockwork the bucks have changed patterns

Well it must be the last week of October and the week before rifle season and I didn't need a calendar to show me that. You know how I can tell? I will answer that question. I have a camera set up on a gravity feeder and for the past 4 months it would capture an average 4,000 pictures of deer, mainly bachelor groups every week. We pulled the chip yesterday and for the past week we had a total of 250 pictures, all of 1 doe that came in during the night this past week. Also, I should say that we had a bid drop of acorns, so I understand why they are off the corn. We did find 2 distinct scrapes, they were very fresh.

Anyone else seeing this? Have your bachelor groups broken up? Seeing a shift in their pattern?

I am seeing decent bucks at the feeder now. Haven't seen that yet until this last week

Where are you hunting at?

My bachelor groups usually split and quit hitting protein in October. Acorns drop and they don't come to feeders every day, but they stay in the same general area and hit corn feeders a few times a week until Thanksgiving-ish.

Then the rut kicks off and they are all over the place for a couple months.. Val Verde County.
