Got in, man it's hot. I expected more for this front. I guess I'm late. There were already deer here. Nothing great or I would've been done early.

Saw some does the field.

This field was just recently cut. The scent of the hay is so strong I've had to fight two sneezes back. I doubt anything will be able to smell me:)

I guess nobody is on here today.:(

Crazy thing, I was a little bummed cause I though I spined her. She went down right away and then I could see blood spouting out so I knew I wouldn't need another arrow. When I cleaned her I noticed I never ever hit her spine or her shoulders. I'm using 2inch cut grim reapers. I'm guessing it just knocked the wind out of her.

Good job! Was hoping to do the same Last night but we didn't connect. We got in a little later last eve too, my son ran off some deer when he climbed into the stand, but it didn't affect the hunt as he saw plenty, just nothing to shoot at.
Deer were active last night. I don't have much hope for the next two weeks tho as it appears to be getting hot again.
