Age and Score estimates?

We're on 1,400 acres of low fence in Lampasas county. So far we have 6 deer we're calling shooters. Curious to see what others think the age and score is on these 6 deer.

Not sure, but really nice buck deers. Pictures of bad pictures make it difficult and distort it a bit

Hard to tell much from those pics but they appear to be middle-age to mature. Scores will depend on when the pics were taken. Post up original pics when they are in hard horns to tell more about them. Nice looking group of bucks.

Anywhere from the high 120s to the 150s I'd say?

Hard to tell from one pic but I would say 4 out of six look 5+. Nice looking bucks.

120s to 150s sounds about right on scores.

I agree with the others but I think I would give the 11 another year or two. Great looking deer.

We're headed back opening weekend of bow season. We have 6 cameras running and I'll have hard horn pictures then. I'll post up what we get.

My exact thoughts

Those are some pretty impressive Lampasas County bucks.

I like playing this game, however am no expert. With hat being said, here's what I came up with - not sure how it lines up to what others would estimate, but I'd like to hear for my own benefit:

12: 165-170, 3.5-4.5 years old (hard to tell from angle)
Big 10: 160, 4.5 years old
11: 155-160, 4.5 years old
10Trash: 150, 3.5 years old
Big 8: 160, 4.5/5.5 years old
8Trash: 145, 4.5 years old

Some really good looking deer all around

The original pics will not make the bucks look larger than what they actually are. I would like to see originals or newer pics. IMO I think you are around 10%+ to high on your scores. Great deer either way.

I agree and maybe more than 10% high IMHO ... those are some fantastic bucks for Lampasas county whatever they might score.
