Shedding Velvet?

How long does it take a deer to shed its velvet? Is it like in one day? Does it vary? We saw one two weeks ago that was very mad at some trees. It was tearing them up. Never seen it in person until then.

Usually it's mostly gone in a few hours if not minutes. There may be a few shreds left here or there but once they start it's usually pretty quick. We already have bucks shedding on our place.

I have on camera 6 bucks in velvet at my feeder. two days latter I have the six bucks again and 5 of them have shed all the velvet. This was this week.

Almost all of my bucks shed between 8/29-31. Only had a couple still in velvet on 9/2.

Saw one in the morning that had velvet by 6:30 in the evening he was shed of all velvet.
