Rain and More Rain

My hunting lease just North of Greensburg, LA. Seven and a half inches over the last three hours and it's not moving out.

Must be nice, well maybe not that much.

I was getting ready to head to the lease for a work weekend but had to cancel. Highway closed due to river flooding. I may need to add pontoons to my ATV.

I'd love to send some your way. It's now over 12" and still coming down.

Could sure use about half that here.

Be careful what you wish for. I think the eastern half of Texas is supposed to get rain every day for about the next 10 days.

We got 2 inches in less than hour here in Stephens Co today. Buddy is at lease in Montague hog hunting and kept texting me as he was stuck in the blind in a monsoon. Hopefully he made it to camp but it is pouring now and rancher just oiled the roads. They are getting nailed now.
