Let me guess, another CWD piece?

According to TPWD, there were 590,112 hunter harvested whitetails in Texas. Assume another 3,000 slaughtered under the CWD scorched earth policy. Then consider that 5 deer tested positive for CWD prions. 3 from the index facility, one that originated from the index facilty found at a Lavaca Co. breeder facility and one on a Lavaca Co. release site with ties to the index facility.

That's .00000843 CWD positive deer of 593,112 deer harvested in Texas, thus far. And, since the prions are in the soil forever, how could the scorched earth policy be effective at controlling anything?

How come the scorched earth area of Wisconsin that was devoid of deer after that experiment, has more deer/acre now than at any previous time? And the prions are still in that soil.

C'mon terry!!! Respond to this! Tell us where your scorched earth policy has been successful! Where has any CWD infested area been more detrimental to populations than dnr scorched earth killings?!

C'mon terry! Show us!

He aint going to say anything. He will come back with a response that has absolutely nothing to do with the original question.
