No dice for the evening. Soooooooo dang windy but a 140 class 10 showed but he is only 3.5 and I've passed on him several times.......and only gets harder as the season closes. Next year will interesting for that guy. It's been rumored a upper 130" six has been spotted so I'll cross my fingers and hope he show for the last hunt of the season in the morning🙏

Had an awesome high 130 class 8 come out this morning. He was an old tank and well been awhile since I have shot anything other than a cull and the fever got me and I blew it with a clean miss. Beyond mad at myself right now.

Haven't got the fever that bad in a really long time. Thought I got myself calmed down enough to squeez off the round but I guess not. Haven't missed anything in a long time feels pretty dang bad. Hope y'all fair better.

Roger that mr. T. I agree. Around here on this lease I consider myself to be the trash mine because I try to do as much as I can cleaning up the genetics and shooting the deer no one else would shoot. Year 2 on this lease and last day of buck season and it just so happens the biggest buck seen in person or on camera decides to step out in front of me of all peopl I decide to step out side the box so to speak and I blow it. Back to trash for me for a while I think.

Yes sir. Our protein regiment is about to begin for the first time ever on this place here in a few weeks so maybe he will be even a bigger tank next year.
