Kendall County - 12/13/15 12:28 PM

I have been hunting in Kendall for years and last night was the hardest rain I have ever seen here in my 20+ years of hunting here. I thought the roof was going to come off the cabin it lasted for about 1 1/2 crazy.

I didn't hear it (somehow) but my wife said it was pouring too. I don't have a clue how much it rained, never emptied the gauge from last time.

Do you mean Kendall County? Weird, the weather report I checked showed full sun for Sunday, and 0% precipitation for Pipe Creek, Boerne, and New Braunfels.

Post, Saturday night. There were some heavy downpours, 2 of my buddies (about all I have) said it rained 1" at their places. Quite a few puddles & water crossings running pretty good now.

That same weather forecast said you are in for more rain Tuesday.

It rained pretty good this morning as well, decided to stay in as the tower blind I am hunting is more of a water collection tank. It has been up for some time, this is its last season. Looked like it was clearing up at noon when I left, best of luck!

It was loud in Helotes as well. Woke me up early in the morning. Wasn't sure if it was hail or not, but it had me checking the roof and yard for missing shingles once daylight hit.

We thought the same thing woke up and checked to see if it was hail, but it was very high winds and flooding. Came in from hunting and checked the roof for damage.
