How is the activity in Stephens with the warm temps ?

I haven't been to the lease since the monsoon. I saw a lot of bucks when the rain quit but nothing so glorious that I wanted to dress the deer in the rain and take the truck to get him in the mud! Now I'm looking at 82 degrees on Friday afternoon which is my only shot this weekend. What's the chance they will be moving?

I saw a young buck chasing 2 does last Saturday morning but that was the only deer I saw all weekend. I was hoping I was seeing the beginning of the rut but with this warm up I don't know what to expect this weekend. Guess I will find out tomorrow.

We hadn't seen any decent bucks in quite a while on our place north of Caddo, and I was really bummed when the antler restrictions kicked in for Stephens county. BUT, this year, the only bucks we've seen and caught on cameras have been above ARs. Go figure. On opening morning I took the buck shown below; the one on camera showed up at 3:30 in the afternoon last Saturday and my lease buddy tagged him.
