Hey guys, heading to our ranch in between 190 and Big Lake this coming Tuesday. Anyone have a rut report? Haven't been there since 2nd weekend of November, so just curious as to what they're doing. Thank you in advance.

I sure like that country had a lease in Barnhart some big deer out there. Deer should be moving pretty good it's been cold.

They started in the early stages and mostly young ones Thanksgiving week. I left the day after Thanksgiving and the warm and wet weather had put a dampener on things but the buck my boy shot was mature and was tending a doe on Thanksgiving day. It should be full blast this week/weekend. We are just south of Ozona.

Good luck! When I hunted out their a few years back the full rut was always after thanksgiving.

Yeah, last year it was around this same time, but I arrived a few days later and caught the tail end of it. Got a text from my uncle yesterday that said bucks were everywhere. Looking forward to getting out there. Two more days of work left...

Saw 3 different bucks today locked down with does just driving through the ranch today. We are between big lake and 190 also. Usually Dec 5th its full blown at our place.
