Made it in for the afternoon hunt cold and wind is blowing. Will be her until the following Sunday so hope to connect with a buck I have on camera.

Had a nice young 8pt and a couple smaller bucks come into the feeder. Movement is kinda slow tonight but it's better than working.

Sittin on the couch watching Bull Durham.....had a small 6 pt walk thru the back yard....

Will be back at it in the morning. Only had a few does and a couple smaller bucks after the feeder went off.

Just got into the stand cold and calm 38 degrees. Hope the deer are out today last night was slow.

Saw a lot of deer this morning bunch of small bucks still chasing does around. Rain is still light and foggy and cold has the deer on their feet this morning.

Starting to rain pretty good now think I will head in and get some coffee and call it a morning good luck guys.

Just got in the blind and its looks to be clearing up no rain. Deer are on their feet just had a young buck and a doe come by for a quick bite.

Did not go out this morning alarm went off looked out side and could not see 50yrd from all the fog went back to bed. Will be going out this afternoon.

Well back at it this afternoon spooked a lot of deer coming in looks to be a good evening hunt.

Small 8pt and 4 does at the feeder.

Been in stand since 2 and have had lots of movement.

Just had a couple small bucks come in but the movement has slowed down some.

Saw a couple nice bucks right at dark. Try again in the morning.

Just got into the blind looks to be a pretty good morning at least no fog anyway.

Have a couple small bucks and a few does at the feeder. I have not seen the bigger deer this week at all I guess they have found their ladies and not moving much now.

Good luck on getting one of those bucks.

I have changed things up set up a tripod in the middle of a small hill where I see a lot of deer feeding during the day. Saw a few bucks and a couple does this might be the ticket.

Just saw a really nice buck walk through with a small doe.

5 does and 3 small bucks just walked in.

Mr. Auctioneer sir, how many acres are you hunting? One would think with all those buck pics you post there would be deer all over the place. Or are they running nocturnal now?

I think they are hanging with the ladies right now. I have seen some pretty good bucks running around just not coming to feeders. The mature bucks hang back come hunting season and it normally takes me all season to find the buck I'm after and sometimes I don't see them at all. I rattled my can hard so far but to no avail LOL!!

We shot these last week.

We keep our numbers in check and shoot a lot of culls and very few trophy deer. I would say about every two years we will shoot some pretty good deer along with the landowner and his son and brother. It's a very nice place with great landowner.

Well back at it again this morning clear and cold hope it gets them going and on their feet.

Just had a big mature 9pt at 272 yards never gave me a good shot. He was working his way around towards the blind so maybe he will come back again. Had several small bucks and does out so things looking good for now.

Had a small 8pt and a doe about 15 minutes ago seems to be slowing down some.

Changed blinds to see if they are coming across a ridge. I have a lot of good bucks on camera so hope they are moving in this spot. I have not been here in awhile so will see.

Well only saw a few does and 3 small bucks. I'm guessing the mature deer are locked down with does and not moving much right now. Should get a lot better in a few days.

No fighting going on or do you guys keep the doe/buck ratio pretty even?

The buck/doe is pretty good they do fight just don't see much of it.

It's 30 degrees and calm this morning. Hope this cold snap gets them on their feet will see.

Well this colder weather has got them moving. Saw my target buck running a doe so looking good at least I know he is close.

Never showed back up. Will be back at it again this afternoon.

Got in early this afternoon if a big doe comes in may take her and then wait the rest of the afternoon out to see what else shows.

Got nothing guys had a big doe come in and just as she was clearing a tree she caught a glimpse of a porky pine walking down the road and she started blowing well she did not like him and left. I did see some good 3 1/2 year old deer that look good. Also saw some othe deer far off probably 30 total tonight most I have seen all week at one time.

Did not hunt this morning, but I'm in the blind this afternoon will see.

Well after all week I pulled the trigger on a doe and missed, but I know this sounds like and excuse she was 311 yards. I pulled way off hit 2 foot In front of her nose it was all me period not the gun.
