It's 28 in Blackwell with a light wind dang cold

41 when I got up at 4:45 with a 7-8mph wind. If this does not get the mature bucks moving, they are around for me this year.

27 in maryneal. Truck says 18

Mine keeps going 29-31 degrees

41 in live oak with feels like of 34. Winds very calm for the moment. Can't wait to get this mornings hunt going. This is what it's all about right here.

Saw a doe on the driveway while pulling into property but that's it so far

Saw a young 8pt chasing 3 does right at light. One slapped the snot out of him, he retreated..lmao. I'm sure the full moon has something to do with the slow movement.

Where is this at? I was talking to my stepdad last night and that's about what they have in Wisconsin right now

25 in Runnels County.

I thought for sure I would see movement this morning....this is getting frustrating

25 in our San Saba camp this morning. Seen 8 does and two 8pt bucks but not the ones we're targeting yet. Our does are not in the rut but getting close. Sitting in my blind enjoying the cold weather.

27 in eastland. Had a young buck tending in front of my stand. Moved off and we got settled. Kids lasted an hour. Had to leave. Looks like I need to invest in better boots for them. Frustrating but lesson learned.

Where the deer moving? 31 here in Smith County and clear all night with a pretty big moon out. We never saw anything this morning, but there are fresh tracks all over the place!!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one

Sitting here in wood county and have not seen anything this morning so far.I figured I would at least see some activity. I'm in it for the long haul today, but I might just go sit and watch a scrape line this afternoon.

3 does, a spike and a turkey....,. Gonna sit here until noon

I had deer on corn at daylight then when they left a big gap till later in the morning around 9 or bit later. I ended up seeing 11 or so deer when I came in to warm up. Tried rattling but only rattled in a nubbin buck fawn. No bucks were traveling at all this morning. Was a few bucks on TC last night a couple of feeders. This afternoon should be much better with the moon coming up before dark. Monday morning should be great also if the winds calm down. Supposed to hit 34 or lower here.

1st real cold day we have had, deer can easily sleep in so to speak until it warms, seen this a lot of times over the years when a small front blows through.

I'd be in my stand by 2pm today.

I would love to be but unfortunately I am going to miss what is probably the best time so far this year to hunt. About to head home then take the kids to great wolf for my sons birthday. There is always tomorrow as they say. Atleast I got to be reminded of what the weather feels like to hunt back in Wisconsin.

You have your priorities str8 Deer can wait when it comes to something like that and you still have time since it will warm back up next week.

Had 7 doe come into corn, 1 spike, not much else doing. In Taylor County. Pull TC this morning had a couple of nice 8 pts around 9 pm last night. Going to sit from wom on today.
