What are the odds?

I finally got to hunt this weekend. Of course the wind blew all morning Saturday. I was in what we call the swamp blind and my buddy is in the Chateau (tower) blind several hundred yards away. Neither of us had seen anything all day. To there right of my blind I see a doe moving back in the woods, then I see a fawn behind her then another fawn. Cool a doe with twins. I called by buddy on the walkie-talkie and told him what I was seeing. That's cool he said.
Ten minutes later my buddy called me to tell me the doe and her twins were now in front of his blind. I told him "I don't think so because I am still watching the doe and twins".

What are the chances of seeing two does with twins at the same time on 100 acres.

We thought it was cool.

Twins are common in wet years. What sex where the fawns?

I was just sharing a hunting experience on a hunting forum. I see twin fawns on game cams and in the field all the time, I just thought that my buddy and I seeing two separate sets at the exact same time was unusual.

The two fawns I saw were male, don't know about the two my buddy saw.

on the ranch i hunt, almost every doe has twins...most of the twin are one of each sex...just what i have noticed...kind of cool

Seeing lots of Does with twins this year.

Seems from my experience that does are just as likely to drop twins as they are singles.
