Young County Two Ten's Story & Pics - 11/10/15 11:36 PM
My buddy and I hunted Monday morning west of Graham and I saw 3 doe & 2 yearlings early, at around 7am I heard my buddy shoot . Sent I text and he said he dropped a legal buck . Told him I would come down to help him load it in about 30 minutes . At 7:30 the turkey/hog 50 yard feeder went off so I decided to sit tight for another 15-20 minutes . at 7:35 I heard something in the trees to my immediate left , low and behold a wide buck that was scraping & rubbing in a post oak . I put my rifle out the window looked at him and he was facing & looking right at me at 40-50 yard's, no broadside shot so I squeezed and nailed him center chest ! He rain off to the far left of me headed east. Got out of the blind and went to the spot of hopeful impact , No Blood . Follow his exit route and found blood at 10 yards , followed more blood and there he was about 30 yard's form impact ! YESSSSS I was Pumped Up
Went to help my Buddy find his buck as it was 25 yards from impact & YESSSSS another 10 pointer
