We have four guys in camp hunting the opener and we only saw a small 8 point and two does. Game warden came into camp sunday to check coolers and said we were his sixth stop and he hasnt check one deer.

My 16 shot this 8 point next door in Baylor county. This and the other buck we saw were chasing does and not interested in corn.

I was out this weekend. Only seen a set of yearling twins at feeder and a small 6 pt that ran by the feeder. At sunset on Sunday a larger sounder of hogs came to the feeder so I punched the ticket on two of them. I'll be back out this weekend to see what happens..
