Caught 2 Whitetail bucks fighting

Had to stay at a friends house on 10/31 down in the hill country. When I pulled up around 10:30 we could hear something at the edge of his property. Grabbed a flashlight and my phone and was able to capture this.

That was a fight. I bet that light blinding them did not help any. How long did they fight?

Nice bucks. Let that be a lesson. When rattling don't be shy. My FIL had 2 bucks fighting in his yard a couple weeks ago. This was in Gruene...I'm getting pumped.

It always amazes me how violent two equal sized, mature bucks can be. Explains why we find a couple dead every year, either from a wound or pure exhaustion. I captured this fight a couple years ago. Lasted a full three minutes.

Makes sense. My folks live close to Potter's Creek, seems like the rut always hits them about 2 weeks before it hits us in Llano Co.
