My "Old South" stand. Far tree line is 100 yards.

I know a guy in haircare and haircare accessories. He hooked me up with a mannequin head



I dump a bag of corn around the tank every other day. This was taken five minutes after the corn a few days ago.

Man those are some great views. Very peaceful. I wish I could post pics of our place. Haven't figured out the shizzle, yet. Our place has lots of variation. Spanish oak and sumac are starting to turn. Beautiful.

View from a little 4x4 overlooking some rye and oats with the feeder set at 100 yds.


Had the boys help me build and set up this 4x6, they got to help paint it too...


This is the view from that one looking over the pipeline, the feeder is set at 130 yds.

Wish I'd started taking the camera decades ago but it didn't happen.
Then when I did start taking it, I only shot critters ususally.
Here is one from the gazebo atop the ranch house, Mayne Ranch.
It's a tad over 400 yds to the opposite bank where on lazy days
I took a doe, and a monster boar with the AR-10 20" & NF glass.


Pryor Ranch at dawn one morning:


Pryor Ranch, Diablo, a buck I saw regular before opening day and then he vanished.
No one else ever saw this animal and he wasn't taken by any hunter.
