How wide?

Same deer about a two weeks apart. We have a disagreement in our camp. How wide do you think he is?

Got any pics with his ears in a normal position? Is that feeder 24" across for width? I will throw 28-29" inside out there with that left beam flaring out based off those pics.

He sure is a wide one, I'd say every bit of 25" inside.

stx, this buck is a legend on our place. We actually think he is in decline. He had longer tines the last two years and even with all the rain is a little shorter this year. Nobody has ever seen him on the hoof. We only have a few daylight pics of him. As far as I know, we don't have a pic with ears extended. We think that's strange.

By the way, we don't have very many pics of him.

There is a 32 4/8" bow kill from last weekend on Los Cazadores.

Based on the bottom pic. I think he's pushing 30. I just hope we get to measure him. That bottom pic is at my feeder. The only feeder we have pics of him this year on the 23rd. I have a couple of night pics of him since.

Wow, I couldn't sleep at night knowing a buck that nice is on my place. hope to see a pic soon of him on the ground. good luck. change up your hunting times, more than likely he has you patterned.

This isn't professional in any way, but I zoomed in a bit on my screen and measured the feeder then measured his inside spread.

2" = 20" feeder
3 1/4" = Deer spread

So with that being said every inch on my screen is more or less 10 actual inches, I would guess him at 32-33" wide.

That's just broscience though, don't take my word for it.

UPDATE! Mr. Brows is down!

Well the buck that has been eluding us for years was taken Sunday 11/15 on the morning hunt about 7am. Only deer that came to the feeder that morning. I didn't kill him, but my best friend did. We are so proud somebody on our place killed him. He came in at 25" wide and grossed 165.75. This buck was a warrior and his right ear was damaged and split. Aged him at 7 or 8 yrs.

Awesome!!!! Glad someone was able get him and have the stories of him. I hate to see when big, old deer like that never get harvested and die of natural causes.
