Proud of my kiddo!

Hunted youth weekend hard (not Halloween after all he's 6) and saw nothing but small does with fawns. I told him that the fawns are young and might not make it if he took the mom and left it up to him. He said "I don't want that, let's wait for a big one or a buck"! We waited and nothing came into range. But the little guy hung in there and never once complained. We had a great time and when grandpa picked us up he said he can't wait for next weekend. I was truly proud of my son.

Atta Way DAD! Great way to spend time... my little girl and I love our time in the blind... and the patience they can demonstrate reminds me of how Im supposed to be.
