Know they are young, might be the same one in both pixs. Drought, genes?

Not genetics, but more antler damage in velvet. Looks like he might have been caught in a hog trap.

Hard to say, could go either way. Lots of deer in NE Texas don't have brow tines...which is genetics.

Thanks everybody, these are the first pixs we have. And where he is at is a little crazy, its last years food plot[ not planted yet] and my feeder aint but 100yds away and no pixs on him there. Go figure

we are on a south texas highly managed ranch and we get culls - don't sweat it - kill him and move on - nature creates studs and non studs - just how it is -
