Where I am around Burleson county there are lots of small ones on the trees.

Not sure how big of an impact it will be.

Our place in Brown County is covered thick. The ground is covered as well as the trees.

Quite a few liveoaks dropping now. Spanish oak are loaded. They usually drop the week before gun opener bang

Found this yesterday, my live oaks have nice big acorns, bigger than several years past. Not so much on my other oaks, but as I said on the other acorn thread, I had a massive fall last year for a 4 year drought, albeit they where small.

Ahh, some may have to get out of the blind and feeder and actually have to hunt.

Went to put on my new timer and found these all over the ground under the live oaks, looked in the trees and they are loaded. Didnt see one acorn in the White or post oaks, could be small and higher up though. Yes, those are my painting shoes, just for size reference.

Those look like 'candy corn'. In a sense, they are, at least to the deer...Corn,A-corn, hmm. Coinkydink? I think not.
