You have your feeder set-up on a decent canyon slope or some sort of decline? If your deer activity isn't as good as you'd like I'd suggest moving it to a flat area. We had some feeders on my in-laws place that were on a incline coming from a big draws and never did see good deer activity. Moved them to a big limestone flat 80 yards from the canyon and made heck of a difference

Both of you guys need to know that my feeder is set up on a flat a piece of land as humanly possible...The CAMERA is crooked because the bush it's attached to does not have a vertical limb available.
That's cool to see. I hunt a lot in Val Verde county also and just 4 to 5 miles up the road I have been seeing a hole bunch of axis lately. The hogs moved in over the summer- went from seeing zero to 100. Occasionally we have some elk come through but they wander so much I rarely see them.
hello, i just bought a small ranch out that way and this post has me very excited, this will be my first year here in val verde, if this is any indication of the animals in that area i am looking forward to the new place!
