It is my understanding that Missouri non-resident any deer tags are going to double in price for this season. Guess I will stay in Texas this year, sorry for my brother since I go there to hunt with him.

I havent heard that about MO. If they double in price, it is still cheaper than soem of the others. When I hunted there it was $225 and OTC. I am paying nearly double that for KS for tags and license. I paid at least double when I hunted IL.

That is the reason that Mo. is going up on tags, because all of the neighboring states are higher and they don't want the next state hunters to get a second buck tag for less money than they charge for N/R.

If I'm not mistaken its July maybe? Can't wait. Have hunted public land the last 3 years and went 2 out of three with pope and young deer. Kansas deer hunting is amazing. Good luck everyone.

Same to you mbavo. What WMU's did you draw in? I drew #1 and #2 again, seems to not be the WT in those units out west as it is a to the east. But those units out west only have the MD.

Nice buck mbavo!! I have pics of some I've hunted and killed there but not sure how to share them. I've been off of the forum for a couple of years so I'm a little rusty.

Great buck, mbavo!
Heard through the grapevine that there were a lot more apps submitted this year than usual. As a result, there are some folks who didn't draw this year. By the looks of the following link, I agree. Lot of units that usually have leftover permits every year have none this year. http://kdwpt.state.ks.us/Hunting/Applications-and-Fees/Deer/Quotas-and-Draw-Stats
I've killed a couple good bucks in Kansas, I'll see if I can drum up some pics. Congrats to all who drew.
