My cousin-in-law has a high fenced operation in East Texas. He's got fallow, axis, and whitetail. Right now he's got a 180" buck he's wants gone. He told me I could come shoot it for $4500. I'm not interested at all and he acted like I was nuts.

If he wants it gone that badly then they price should drop. I have seen a lot of people charge 100 a point for trophy whitetails.. So 4500 seems a little high unless it has 45 points HAHA

That's crazy. 4,500 to go shoot a captive animal. I just can't do the whole high fence thing. I know some like it and that's great. But not for this guy. That's way too expensive

Yes that's a good deal. To each his own on wanting to hunt high or low fence. If it was free for you to go hunt,we would probably be seeing pics in the photo section of you and your 180" deer! ( this was referring to your free comment)

Acreage for it wouldn't matter. Would just rather put that $4500 towards a different kind of hunt and a different species.

The OP isn't asking what you think about that type of hunting, AFAIK. Just looking at outfitter's prices on here, this is a real deal. Jump on it if you don't mind a small high fence place. (Not for me either, but that's beside the point.)
