My dad has been telling me that I need to be hunting the 21st. Firsst day of winter and the winter solstice. Any one heard anything special about hunting the winter solstice?

I am not, going to skip tomorrow, I may go Monday morning, if not my season will be over. It's Christmas time, it's time for having fun with the grandkids while they are out of school.

I can tell you it has started off as nothing special

Two totes seen, couldn't get shots off on either due to range and speed of movement. No deer or turkeys or hogs

Only thing special about that is just being able to be out in the woods period, no matter what day it is!
