CVA Wolf™ .50 Break-Action Muzzleloader sounds like a good gun and I was thinking about getting it for a 2nd deer hunting rifle. Does anyone have one or a story about one? Should I get it?

They work and are pretty accurate. Just clean it every single time you shoot it

Don't know any thing about that rifle. I shoot nothing but muzzleloaders all deer season. Lots of fun and I spend more time at the range trying different load combinations than I ever did with center fire rifles. I used single shot rifles for 15 years before switching to muzzleloaders in 2000. My dad started me hunting at 9(68 years ago)with a H & R 16 guage single shot and one shell. If I killed something he gave me another shell. If I missed I didn't get another shell until the next trip. That will make you learn patience in picking your shots. Sorry for the drift off topic. Go for it and learn from the huge amount of info on the web. Do yourself a favor and start with Blackhorn 209 powder and read their website for info on other load components. Good hunting
