attractant sents

I have a hunt booked next month at Extreme Bowhunting in Brackettville. I am booked for the Extreme Safari and that includes a mature whitetail. One of my hunting partners from Washington is also booked for whitetail. I hunted with tehm last year (for exotics) and we seen some awesome WT bucks. I was to try and increase my odds and am looking for any feedback on attractant sents. I have ordered Tink's #1 Doe-P Deer Lure (1-Ounce) from amazon. I have read good things and it came with good reviews. Just looking to see if anyone that hunts around that area or Texas in general has any feedback. Thank you for any help.

I have never had any success with scents of any kind. Maybe others have, but it has not worked for me. Good luck on your hunt!

I've used doe urine, dominate buck urine and vanilla with success.

Doe urine was put on the ground for the rut in 2012. I made a mock scrape with the buck urine last year and this year the vanilla was sprinkled all around the feeder on the corn. Separate occasions and shot a deer each time. Now, how much of that was attributed to the scent I don't know but they seemed interested.

There is a big thread about vanilla on here if you search. After I read it I had to try it because it's so cheap (85 cents per bottle at the grocery store).
