I am not happy at all in the least bit cuz i can't hunt now. Why don't people have deer in a little pin at weddings? Then after the cake is cut, which never tastes that good, the newly weds can shoot a trophy buck! You talk about a memorable occasion... Then again, they could let their favorite guest shoot his dream deer at their wedding for compensation. It takes a lot to leave the liese and go to something that my girlfriend wants to go to! The least they could do is gimmie a deer.

There are certain things people should check before planning events like that 1the Dallas Cowboys schedule, 2 The Mavericks schedule, or any important Rangers games, and if someone is planning something during deer season it should either be at noon or well after dark 7:30 or 8:00 at the earliest. Personally I wish people would stop planning things on the weekends my wife and I had our wedding on a Thursday afternoon in July of 04 because it would have been my grandparents anniversary and they were married 72 years and it turned out great it kept the crowd down just a little and didn't ruin anyone else's weekend plans. That's just my 2 cents.

Or, you could just go to the lease. How is a girl running your life at that age? (Or any age, for that matter...)

You should probably be more concerned with what she's doing while you're at the lease. Drop the girl, forget the weddings. Youre 15, enjoy your teenage years.

What! At 15 all I did was hunt girls, hunting deer was the furthest thing from my mind.
But wedding plans weren't even a thought, not even close.

Hunting deer less drama and money than hunting women!!

yes, but women are like cigarettes...you better not use them while hunting, and are not good for your mind. If stress shortens your life then women probably don't help in that department either. Then again, they are supposed to be man's 2nd best friend.

can't help you there. My wife hunts with me, and knows to ask about my hunting before committing me in the fall. I missed her family reunion to take my oldest out on youth weekend. Have missed family holiday gatherings to hunt also (my family). Hunting season lasts 2 months, and in those 2 months you might get 5 opportunities (weekends) to make the trip to hunt. I don't golf. I don't fish. I don't watch stick and ball sports on TV. I hunt, and the season is only a small fraction of the year. I make no apologies about missing things that fall in hunting season.

There's a thousand fish in the sea. I'd find a new girl that understands how important hunting is to you, or I'd being fly solo.

I got married in the summer because of what your talking about. I didn't want to miss deer season. A few of my groomsmen were complaining about the heat and tux, why don't you get married in November or December etc. and of course they didn't have a place to hunt so what did it matter to them.
