Timeline of the 11 point from 2012-2014 - 11/01/14 04:01 PM

Thought I would post some pics of the 11 point from the first year that I had seen him in 2012 till this year in 2014.
Here are some pics of him as a 10 point in 2012. 2012 was a very dry year with only 9" of rain from May till Dec. He would never jump in a feed pen and would only eat corn that was spread outside the pen.

Here are some pics of him as a 10 point in 2013. It rained better and ended the year with just over 26". He was finally eating corn in the feed pens but would not touch protein or eat under the corn feeder.

Here are some pics or him from August and September this year. It rained 16" so far year to date and 10" of that was in May and June. Pretty dang dry the rest of the months. He finally started eating protein in January 2014 with the very dry conditions. He added the one kicker to make him an 11 point this year.

If there was ever a buck that could represent whitetails in Texas, that would be the one. Just a plain beautiful buck in form and shape. Hopefully he spread his genes all over your place STX.

Western, I would hope. He is unique for this area in his coat and face color. It seems there are quite a few bucks that have that trait. He was easy to spot in low light when he had is head down since he had a black colored stripe from the back of his head all the way along his back. I did see another 10 point with similar a similar rack to his that appears to be a mature buck. I only saw him 3 times IRRC in October. He will not jump into a feed pen so I don't have an TC pics of him. He has a dark coat and head color like this buck also.

No these were from my Canon 7D DSLR camera. I only own Primos, Bushnell and SpyPoint TCs though also. Deer is anywhere from 60 yards to 110 yards from me in those pics. I was sitting in a deer blind.

STX, what did he end up scoring?

I have a buck on my little lease that looks very similar to your deer. tall and narrow, split G2, but has weak 4's.
