Live from Atascosa Co

Sitting in the ground blind I just set up this afternoon. Not an ideal situation but it could be worse! Wasn't expecting much when I got here having set up the feeders less than a month ago and not having checked them since then. Was pleasantly surprised when I got here to find a serious rub line with huge scrapes all over the place! Quickly set up my Pop up (wind wasn't right for my tree stand), and here I sit. I have pics but if I can't figure out how to post them with my iPhone ill post pics Monday. Pretty pumped to see what we got!

Thanks. Been out here since 3:45.. Heard a young buck grunting a few minutes ago. Haven't seen anything yet. Bout 30 minutes shooting light left

Not much was moving this evening!

No deer. Had about 30 hogs come in as I was getting out of the blind. Stuck a little one. I'll be back in the morning hopefully that buck will be too!

Not many skeeters for me here in brown co, unfortunately, not many deer or hogs, even on camera..

Doe trying to make her way to the feeder. The neighbor is shooting a AR about half a mile away. Just enough to make her nervous

Couldn't sit anymore. Just climbed out and got busted by a doe. Anyone else?

I had swirling winds this morning. Deer knew that smell that got whiffs of off and on was not supposed to be there. Seen probably 10-12 does/fawns and 4 bucks at least. Just everything was edgy and spooking with the wind swirling. Got out at 8 to let it settle down.

Talked myself into staying for the evening hunt. It's muggy and gross And the mosquitoes are bad as ever. Let's see what happens...

Been in the blind since 6.. Had some does around 6:15. Now that it's LST ive had a hog running around the feeder for about the last 20 minutes. Bacon is starting to sound real good
