Looks like a Corriente Cross. That would be the a deer in need of rifle

That's what I'm thinking.

If he did not have the browtines he would be a true "cowhorn" spike grin When you deer like those 2 in background, it makes the decision a whole lot easier. up

Yes. I was always told spikes were a victim of circumstance...either a late drop or a submissive twin that didn't get it's fair share of milk. Therefore I didn't want to cull this one out too early but I think he could be a 3 year old in which case he def need shot. Thoughts??

Hard to tell from that one pic, but he looks older than 3 to me. I have seen spikes in areas where the fawns are born starting in late April/first part May, so birth date really is not an issue on spikes IMO.

I'd get tired of watching him eat my corn. Plus, it is a unique rack. Or you could let a kid shoot him.

I would shoot him just because I like the rack.

Long skinny legs and small body. I think he's a yearling (after looking at the later pics). But, he's nasty enough to kill on sight. And I don't make that judgement about many yearlings.

The bucks in the background make that decision easier.
