Kolpin Rhino Pro Grips on atv

Is this about the only thing out there? I am trying to talk myself into these being ok for scoped rifles. I'll use a scope cover and take it pretty easy on terrain that's not too bad. I'd like to hear from anyone that has used these. They seem well built and padded sufficiently with not much risk to shock, vibration or anything else that could effect zero under low speeds and average terrain. I'll most often have my rifle across my chest on a sling, but these look ok for some situations.

I've tried the grips like that and they work ok, but you will get mud on your rifle, even going slow. My Polaris has a carrier brace that snaps in and holds a full case like this:

There are a bunch of similar carriers out there- it's nice to have the rifle fully encased and protected.
If I don't use that, I usually leave the rifle slung over my shoulder using the normal sling.

Thanks for the heads up on the mud. I planned on a cutting a wore out gym may and fastening it to the rack and draping it over the rifle between the grips. That was to keep dust and dirt off of the scope, and allow me to get to it quickly if I wanted to. Plan B is making a sturdy foam lined case out of wood and rubber coating it. The foam is cheap and easy to order.
