Wanting to buy a GPS tracking device to put on my Ranger. Any suggestions as to what kind to buy?

The Garmin for your dogs will work.

Yep, one on each dog and each vehicle - that way, you can find either!

I was thinking that the Garmin for dogs would not transmit a signal very far. I want to leave my ranger at the deer lease and be able to track it if stolen.

You might check with verizon, my bil works for them and I know they make something for tracking cars, might work for you.

Ask your insurance company. You might even get a discount for having one.
