Great pics, love green jays. There was a time I cursed them because of how much corn they ate, they can eat a lot....but now I enjoy watching them especially at first light. Like to watch them and listen to them.

They do eat a lot of corn but are really skittish around a feeder. These were eating both corn and milo around the water trough. They will fill their beak full of corn and/milo then fly up to a limb to eat it. Would break up the corn with their beak then eat it. They did this with several kernels in their beak. Find out why my coons cuffs are always emptied of corn or milo and not tripped.

Ever find them tripped? Just wondering what it would do if they hit the trigger....slide down their beak or catch/kill them....

Never caught a bird in one but have caught a squirrel in one. I suspect turkey could get some also. My thought is that rats/mice are cleaning most of the corn out them when they are empty. Found them tripped a few times but no idea what did it without a cam on the trap.
