Buck in the rain...(pic heavy) - 01/31/18 07:18 PM

Went to South Texas hunting in early December right when it started to rain then snowed the next day or so. I really liked this buck and was able to catch him after a hard rain shower shaking the water out of his coat. It was cold rainy day with temps in the upper 30's this day. Bucks were really moving well considering how nasty it was.

Simply amazing. Those are some really good pictures and that is in my opinion one of the best looking WT Bucks I have ever seen.

What was even more impressive is that it rained and snowed in the same week in South Texas.

You ought to see if you can sell these pics to a magazine, they are outstanding. I used to know a Texas Outdoor Writer who made more money from his magazine covers and photo stories than he ever did from writing newspaper columns, and always was looking for photo sequences like this. Well Done.
