Custom Camo Paint on the rifles

Not a big fan of plain black guns so I went and cut a few branches down and did a "custom" camo paint job on my PSA AR-10 and my Savage .17hmr.

first I got one of those "my dip kit" kits and didn't work worth a flip. So I went to the store and bought some cans of flat green, brown, tan, and black paint. Then I went and clipped a few branches of cedar from a neighbors tree. I sprayed a primer coat first after taping off the AR and taking the barrel out of the stock on the .17. Then I sprayed a base coat of tan on the .17 and a base coat of that olive green color on the AR. From there I just played with the colors and branches. I would lay down enough branches to cover an entire side of the gun and then played around with the colors. If you mess up or don't like how it looks in a certain spot just spray that section with your base coat, wait for it to dry, and then start over. I really liked how these turned out.

Looks very nice. Colors are well blended. I think I would do the receivers on the AR to finish it off.
