That's really cool!!!! Congrats to your wife. Mine also shoots a 7mm-08 and loves it. After shopping around and comparing what's out there, it's one of those perfect calibers that doesn't seem to get as much attention as it deserves.
30 years ago I drew a Nevada deer tag and on the first morning I had a massive forked horn mule deer walk by that I still regret not shooting. I've never seen anything like him since, either while out hunting, or in pictures.

She’s mounting it proudly. We mount for the memories moreso than anything else. It was a great hunt. I was shaking like a leaf, while she was as cool as the other side of the pillow. Until after she shot.
